Why do misunderstandings occur...due to ego...due to the fact that you are the boss? Or just because you believe in something and the other person does not? Whatever may be the case, misunderstandings are a part and parcel of a human life….!!! The best way to deal with these inevitable unpleasant happenings is to come to terms with the real facts…!! This can be achieved only with a calm and balanced state of mind. In case you are on the wrong side of it do not hesitate to accept it…!!! The same ways if the other person is wrong make him/her understand his mistake with sweet words rather than simply jumping into a heated conflict.
Undecided complaints are the ones that create havoc. So never leave any complaint raw…! Bring it to the notice of the concerned head for an immediate settlement. If your maid is a bit sloppy speak to her and make sure she understands the mistake and correct her. Unsolved or undecided issues built up will only worsen matters so never allow that to happen.
The solution to a problem necessarily does not mean a one-sided always. The resolution to a problem must be discussed with an open mind and transparent vision. This can only be possible with both the persons sitting across and clearing the misconception without insulting each other. Make the other person understand that you are there to resolve confusion and not to pick a fight.
A word spoken cannot be taken back so always be sure to speak the right word especially while sorting out a problem. In case you are out of mood to discuss, first calm down so that the dialogue does not go out of barriers. Always keep in mind that offending the other person will surely spark a heated environment so at any cost avoid that.
Household problems are always to be kept a secret to the outside world. The household issues are to be sorted out within the barriers of the household unless it inevitably requires an intervention of the third person. Always take care that this third person is trustworthy and settles the dispute in an unbiased mind. And more importantly he maintains secrecy about the issue to the outer sphere and his intentions are genuine about the family.
Solving a problem is quite delicate and objective. Unless the intention of resolving does not occur in the minds of both the involved parties a solution cannot surface. Though the involved parties happen to be a superior and a subordinate, each one of them must bear in mind the complexity of the individual status and behave accordingly. One must maintain dignity and decorum and politeness as well so that the employee and employer remain happy and satisfied with the result.
